Agnieszka Acar has been appointed as Managing Director of EMS-Fehn-Group’s shipping company EMS Chartering. “With her professional experience and her in-depth knowledge of all areas of shipping, she was our first choice for this position,“ says Dominic Sleur, COO of EMS-Fehn-Group.
Acar previously held the position of General Manager at EMS Chartering. Established in 1984, the German company offers tailored shortsea and deepsea solutions for bulk, break bulk and project cargoes. EMS Chartering is the exclusive broker of EMS-Fehn-Group’s own fleet of general cargo vessels.
Having started her professional career as apprentice at EMS Chartering in 2008, Acar stayed with the company as shipbroker specializing in project cargoes. She has been in charge of key accounts for a number of years and is especially versed in providing sophisticated transport solutions to major players in the wind industry.
Headquartered in Germany, EMS-Fehn-Group consists of 18 companies all across Europe and offers a vast variety of worldwide logistics solutions. Apart from its own vessels, EMS-Fehn-Group operates its own fleet of heavy haulage trucks, port terminals and high-performance cranes.
